Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood actor and writer who has been recognized for her skills. Sagittarius, she was born at the state of North Carolina on 3 December 1960. She is the oldest out of three kids that were the children of Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) as well as Anne Smith, who is a psychologist. She is of English-Scottish descent. Moore's dad moved around a lot because of his job. It was difficult for her to make or maintain friendships. Moore was a student at Frankfurt American High School in Germany at the time her parents relocated to America. Then she began to perform in theatre. Moore had her first major performance in Safe in 1995, a movie. Steven Spielberg chose Moore to portray the role of the protagonist role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. It was among the most popular films released in the year. She received a SAG award nomination for Magnolia in 1999. In 2002 she co-starred in The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. Her career has been established in Hollywood as well as being a successful children's book author. In 2007, she published Freckleface Strawberry and quickly became a N.Y.T. The book was later adapted into a TV series and musical. She also published My Mom is a Foreigner in the year 2013. A well-respected author and actress, Moore's personal life and experiences are public. She married John Robin in 1984 and they split in 1995. Bart Freundlich has given her two children.
