Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood actor and writer who has been recognized for her skills. Sagittarius, she was born at the state of North Carolina on 3 December 1960. She is the oldest out of three kids that were the children of Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) as well as Anne Smith, who is a psychologist. She is of English-Scottish descent. Moore's dad moved around a lot because of his job. It was difficult for her to make or maintain friendships. Moore was a student at Frankfurt American High School in Germany at the time her parents relocated to America. Then she began to perform in theatre. Moore had her first major performance in Safe in 1995, a movie. Steven Spielberg chose Moore to portray the role of the protagonist role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. In 2002 she co-starred in The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep.
