Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of both the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics she took gold on both the floor for the team and in individual competitions. The bronze was won with the balance bar. In 2012 she was the very first American athlete to win the most medals at the Olympics. In 2016, the Olympics included her winning a gold at the team competition, which earned her and Gabby the distinction of being the only Americans ever to have consecutive gold medals for a team. In addition, she was awarded silver medals for the individual all-around event as well as for the floor workout. Between the two Olympics she had taken an absence from gymnastics competition for three years. She was also a part of the gold-winning American team at the two World Championships. Her favourite event is floor workout. She started learning gymnastics when she was two years older. Aly gives her time and money to Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity in honor of her departed grandmother. As for the future, she is planning to create a profession out of fashion. She would also like to increase the length of her leotards as well as her socks. Fierce is a novel she will release later this year.
